- They Didn’t Have To But Did: President Trump & Chairwoman Elise Stefanik Taking On the Antisemites Head On
- Delusion of a Hostage Deal at This Point & The Absolute Danger of Offering Sinwar Free Passage Out of Gaza
This past Thursday, I attended a Trump47 Women’s Leadership Coalition event with Elise Stefanik in DC. I was one of just several Jews in attendance, and what struck me profoundly was the fact that ‘they didn’t have to but did’ – Chairwoman Stefanik took the stage and was speaking on the economy, the border crisis, the importance of this upcoming election, and concerns more germane to her own district. However, it was when she spoke strongly against antisemitism on college campuses that it wrapped the high attention of everyone in attendance. Elise did not boast about the Congressional hearings which she initiated, but rather emphasized that there is much work to be done – that barely a fraction of schools that allow Jew hatred, have been penalized. For those interested, I am including a full list of the 120 schools that allowed terrorism encampments.
She didn’t have to do anything for Jews. Chairwoman Stefanik is not a Jew, nor does she represent a Jewish-populated district, not even close. When previously pressed on the reason for her highlighting campus antisemitism, her simple answer resonated with non-terrorist supporting Americans – ‘because it is the right thing to do.’
Contrast that with even ‘friend to the Jews’ Rep. Ritchie Torres who votes for addressing antisemitism, but who voted ‘No’ when Israel needed America most. The Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 was put forth in the beginning of November of 2023, and because the aid was not tied to Ukraine – two very different wars (the differences could warrant a separate newsletter article) – Torres, along with other Dems voted against Israel. Just like in mid-November, when all 51 Democrat Senators voted against a $14.3 billion stand-alone aid package for Israel, when Israel needed it most.
Or Mayor Adams in NYC who like a robotic parrot keeps saying ‘he loves Israel’ well, if that were the case, he would clamp down on the terrorist violent protests that have rocked NYC since the Jewish genocide. Can’t forget Senator Cory Booker who loves to pander to his Jews, but then votes against Israel and has been near silent since Oct. 7th.
President Trump is also not a Jew. Sure, his son-in-law is a Jew, and his eldest daughter adopted the Judean faith, but he has many children and grandchildren who are not Jews. At times during President Trump’s first term, it seemed like he was a President of both America and Israel with his litany of pro-Israel policies – from de-funding the terrorist groups (UNRWA, PA, Hamas – Jihad Joe refunded all during his first year in office). Per a Forbes article from June 2021…
” Since 1950, U.S. taxpayers have sent over $6.3 billion through the United Nations to subsidize Palestinian refugees living in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. In 2016, the last year of the Obama Administration, the U.S. sent $359 million in Palestinian aid, only $39 million less than 2014’s all-time high of $398.7 million.
President Donald Trump cut the Palestinian aid to zero in 2018 – which had never been tried in the 71-year history of funding the region. In response, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said U.S. taxpayers had violated an international obligation to fund them.
In April 2021, President Joe Biden agreed with the PLO, not Trump, and restarted aid to the Palestinians. Weeks later, rockets were again landing on Israelis and the region was at war.”
President Trump also placed onerous sanctions on Iran which left them near bankrupt, had the IRGC General Soleimani killed, recognized that the Golan Heights are legitimately part of Israel (thousands of Jewish artifacts have been found throughout the Golan since Israel reclaimed that land in the defensive Six Day War in 1967), and included Jews in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act thus granting Jews the right to pursue legal action against federal institutions which permit antisemitism, not on faith-grounds, but on ethnicity. Ethnicities have homelands, not faiths. Jews are an indigenous race to Israel, always have been since splitting from other Semitic tribes in Judea & Samaria.
The Abraham Accords, of course, was the zenith of President Trump’s Middle East foreign policy. Though he was not involved in the decade of back-channel relations between Israel and the Arab nations, President Trump and his team got the Accords to the finish line.
He had also encouraged PM Netanyahu to apply sovereignty to Area C of Judea & Samaria. Netanyahu failed to do so.
The greatest test came with the moving of the U.S embassy to Jerusalem, and for that we truly must thank Ambassador David Friedman. On a recent podcast of Mislaibled, the host asked the former Ambassador if he helped with the moving of the embassy, to which he replied that there was no one doing more for that to happen, and that he would mention it every day to the President. When the Cabinet convened to meet about moving the embassy, all other Cabinet heads were against it. Scared to do the right thing just like every other Administration since 1995 when Congress voted to pass the Jerusalem Embassy Act. President Trump, too, signed the waiver in June of 2017, but in December of 2017, the decision was made to honor the obligation of the 1995 bill. The Act did give the option of review every six months. Originally Clinton agreed that the moving of the embassy was needed, but he worked hard to attempt to stop Republican Senator Dole’s bill.
And we all know how Clinton ended up harming Israel through the Oslo Terrorist Accords, having Israel cede 2/3rds of its ancestral heartland to a terrorist organization, a ‘peace accords’ that has been responsible for the murder of thousands of Israelis (1200 Israeli citizens were murdered just during the Second Intifada (2000 – 2005) with hundreds more severely injured).
Ambassador Friedman explained to President Trump that it was the right thing to do and that he should not fear rogue terrorist actors – whether it be the Arab occupiers (falsely called ‘Palestinians’), Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, etc. That by moving the embassy America will show the world that our nation stands by its allies.
President Trump listened and despite what the rest of his Cabinet aside from Ambassador Friedman, had advised, went ahead to move the American embassy to Israel’s actual capital.
He did not have to. Jews comprise barely a blip in the U.S. population. He did because just like with Chairwoman Stefanik’s actions – it was the right course of action.
Meanwhile all Hamas Harris can offer is redundant platitudes that Israel has the ‘right to defend itself’ – of course it does. Every nation has that right.
Quickly she moved from stating the obvious to squawking about the antisemitic ‘2 state solution’ – yes, let’s give genocidal Arab occupiers who, on one side of Israel; inside Israel (in Judea & Samaria) engage in Pay for Slay payments (which now, thanks to Jihad Joe has the funds back in its coffers) to terrorists – over 7% of the PA’s budget, nearly $400 million per year goes towards paying families of terrorists who have murdered Jews. Compared to barely $250 million which goes towards welfare programs. Additionally, the PA has been paying Hamas as well, with the two terrorist groups officially joining forces recently. Even on October 7th, there were numerous PA terrorists among the murderers.
Upwards of 600 Arab occupiers are employed in the Pay for Slay bureaucracy system. The longer the prison stay, the more the payout. Extra funding is provided to Israeli Arabs and those Arabs in Jerusalem who hold Israeli IDs.
And on the other side we have Gaza (also part of Israel) where similarly the entire occupying population is still, not shockingly, majority in support of Hamas.
Hamas and the PLO/PA are all the same deadly disease.
I do not envy the Israeli negotiating team because they have been placed in an impossible situation, thanks to Netanyahu’s dangerous decision not to extend the siege on Gaza, which lasted a paltry three days. Feeding one’s enemies is in direct opposition to any winning long-term strategy against terrorism.
The Bring Them Home Now movement was counterproductive to its mission – from October 7th, it was Israel’s main (and obvious ) goal to bring back as many hostages as possible, and what does the movement think the IDF is doing inside Gaza; losing soldiers would not have been a reality without the hostages being kidnapped.
Razing Gaza, at most, would have been a week’s work for the IAF. Instead, it brought an abundance of attention on the hostages, that the subhumans of Hamas and Islamic Jihad (along with numerous lesser terror cells), capitalized on maximum damage done to hostages for pure psychological torture. Further, this same movement calls for dangerous ceasefires so that not 1200 Jews will be murdered in the next genocide, but perhaps even more. *I hope no one is naive enough to think that another Jewish genocide is not currently in the planning.* It’s Israel’s policies that hopefully will strengthen to ensure one does not get carried out. So far, those policies are lacking.
As a human with emotions, of course the thought of a temporary ceasefire seemed fleetingly appealing, but we are not dealing with a nation, but with subhumans. Subhumans who care nothing about the very population that enthusiastically voted for them. Even Hezbollah issued a mandatory evacuation recently of Southern Lebanon.
Hamas wants and needs more dead Gazans. How else are they going to fool the antisemitic liberals in the West? Tear at the heartstrings of antisemitic Arabs the world over, the majority who think of Hamas as ‘freedom fighters’ instead of Arab occupiers of Jewish land that have zero claim to any inch of Israel (Gaza is part of Israel). Hamas would kill Jews anywhere though, even if Israel were once again occupied.
Many months ago, i thought oh perhaps Israel could offer a ceasefire, get the remaining hostages out, and then go back on the promise of a ceasefire, to resume fighting as soon as possible. Or to agree to release the numerous terrorists but then kill all the terrorists released once we have our remaining hostages out.
Not so fast. Hamas can and does renege on deals because as a terrorist organization, it is allowed to. Israel is an actual country and so breaking any promises, even to a terrorist entity, would send signals to the world at large that Israel cannot be trusted with any agreement. I am sure that the Israeli team has thought that through often in the past nearly one year.
Israel is of course desperate to have the remaining hostages returned, both those still alive and those who have been murdered, and so the Israel hostage envoy, Gal Hirsch offered Sinwar safe passage out of Gaza in exchange for freeing the hostages, and giving up control of Jewish Gaza. Hirsch also offered additional released terrorists in the package deal.
Israel is most likely thinking if we let Sinwar go, we are not letting him go free as Israel has been highly successful in targeting terrorists internationally, even inside a highly guarded government compound inside Iran. However, Sinwar also knows of Israel’s capabilities. Terrorists are not that stupid.
Yahya’s brother, Mohammed, whom Yahya would undoubtedly also demand release from Gaza, is considered even more ruthless. In 1991, Mohammed was arrested by the IDF but released after just nine months. Upon his release, he befriended rising terrorist leaders such as Mohammed Deif (now killed), and Sa’ad Al-Arabid. More IDF target operations were launched against Mohammed Sinwar than any other terrorist, with his house demolished several times. Mohammed was one of the masterminds behind developing the al-Qassam Brigades. He also led the terrorist operation to kidnap the IDF soldier, Gilad Shalit, whose release in 2011(after five years of captivity) led to over 1,000 (1,027) terrorists being unleashed including Yahya.
In reality, Mohammed is considered the shadow leader of Hamas in Gaza; he convinced groups in the Sinai to partner with ISIS to smuggle in weapons into Gaza, and is believed to be the chief protector of Yahya. Many suspect he is also behind Hamas’ ‘negotiations’ with Israel – more like terrorist demands.
This is who the international community is granting legitimacy. These subhumans have multiplied greatly since 1948, when Egypt settled in over 250,000 of its nationals and radicalized them in Gaza. Same programming has been happening all over the Arab occupied parts of Judea & Samaria and in Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
Each terrorist, even the leaders are all replaceable, as there is always someone willing to take the place of a ‘martyr.’
Perhaps Israel could instead place the onus on Egypt and Qatar. What do both of those countries fear most? That not one Arab occupier in Gaza be let inside their borders. Israel could threaten them by doing as such. Population transfers have occurred in many points of history. Look what the Arab nations did to Mizrahi Jews – expelled Jews for nothing, only because the Jewish homeland was liberated. Not one Jew enacted a terror campaign against the Muslims in any Arab land.
Hamas does not care about being beat militarily. They know that if Gaza is not reclaimed by Israel, that the international antisemitic community will sweep in and have the Jewish land enclave be ruled by the ‘more moderate’ terrorist PA – one in the same, and just like that, Hamas will have won. So, to them, there is absolutely no urgency in releasing the innocent hostages, whatsoever. It is understanding that mindset that would benefit to shift pressure during these talks. Hamas is not in any rush. The prospect of opening the gates to Egypt or enlisting the aid of the UAE or even the Saudis (who both abhor Qatar) to pressure Qatar, now that Israel has control of the Philadelphi Corridor, could raise the stakes for the participating (actual) nations.

Am Israel Chai!
