Book Club

Welcome to the TBTN Zionism Book club Winter/Spring (Feb, March, April) series, where we will be exploring books that delve into the actual history of the Jewish people and Israel.

There are a plethora of books on Israel, but most are not accurate in terms of facts, which is how we end up flooding the market place with more antisemitism. The books in the TBTN series are chosen for their strength to effectively combat anti-Israel lies. The first book we will be reading is Raquela: A Woman of Israel by Ruth Gruber. Meet a young nurse, Raquela, based on a real woman, whose life’s stories interweave as Israel transitions from a land occupied by the British to full independence — and all the joy and tribulations associated with that time period.

After having read this book twice, I am convinced that this should be required reading for every Jew.
